A Warehouse Operative position has become available within one of our busy operational hubs in Gosport, Hampshire !
The successful candidate will be required to process parts through the Warehouse, performing but not limited to Receipts, Issues and Stocktaking transitions to meet our customer’s requirements.
Processes and moves production and other materials into and out of storage, production and other locations to support complex production and product support activities, flight test, etc. Monitors and analyzes work in process. Updates status of parts and materials using automated systems. Identifies and reports problems and recommendations to insure parts availability. Analyzes problems and resolves or reconciles discrepancies with parts and materials to maintain inventory and system accuracy. Coordinates with various functions to set priorities, expedite and complete production activities to avoid schedule delays. Works under limited supervision.
Roles and Responsibilities
Perform day to day Warehouse operations to include but not limited to, Receipt / Issues and Stocktaking in line with business and regulatory processes and procedures.
Assist with the loading / unloading of delivery vehicles.
Perform on site deliveries as the need arises by the business to maintain operational readiness
Analyze documentation in line with the current processes and regulations.
Support business key performance indicators
Liaise with freight agents / haulers as required.
Perform Warehouse operations in line with HMRC Import Regulations.
Assist with departmental audits.
Maintain Health and Safety standards and ensure business policies are adhered to.
Required Qualifications
Experience in military environment, military goods or warehouse systems
Be IT literate with common MS Applications (Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications
Be in possession of a Counter Balance / Reach Forklift license and used within the last 2 years.
Previous Warehouse knowledge and experience
Knowledge of HMRC regulations and the impact it has on current operations
MJDI Experience
GCSE qualifications to include Math and English
Dangerous Good Awareness (ADR / IATA / MDG).
SAP experience
Willingness and eligibility to undergo and obtain a SECURITY CHECK/CLEARANCE is required.

This role based on 12 months fixed term contract and is required to be fully on-site.
