Warehouse Operations Manager

We're currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operations Manager to join our team on a full time, permanent basis in Runcorn.
At Teva Runcorn, we develop, manufacture and market innovative and affordable medicines, specialising in sterile liquid products mainly used for treating respiratory conditions using Blow-Fill-Seal technology as well as injectable Combination Products.
A Day In The Life Of A Warehouse Operations Manager
Working as part of a management team, you'll be responsible for product/material Receipt, Storage and Despatch. You'll manage directly the Receipt and Despatch processes and line manage all relevant team members, deputising for the Senior Warehouse Manager when required.
Key responsibilities to include:
Manage the Warehouse adherence to Teva Quality standards by managing team member adherence to and actively using the appropriate quality management systems in a timely manner. Be the quality management systems SME for the Warehouse.
Take the lead to actively develop warehouse processes and strategy with the Warehouse teams, championing Operational Excellence.
Ensure and actively promote the continuous improvement of operating procedures, space utilization, and maintenance and protection of facilities and equipment.
Manage the implementation of process improvements by project plan with a high level of visibility and involvement across all Warehouse team members and in accordance with defined Teva standards.
Manage our partner site's warehouse including Engineering Spares.
Ensure inventory is managed correctly, via SAP, providing accurate performance KPI’s on a regular basis and optimising space.
Who Are We Looking For
Do you have?
A minimum degree level qualification in a relevant discipline.
Proven successful experience in a manufacturing, logistics team management role
Significant systems experience using SAP and a working knowledge of computerized inventory management systems
Demonstrable track record of managing large scale change
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Experience in a regulated industry desirable (i.e. Pharma, Food, Aerospace etc)
FLT experience preferred
