The Ideal Person:
- Full UK driving licence
- Currently a Warehouse Manager or supervisor
- Excellent team management and people skills
- Hold a current FLT license (not a requirement but a bonus)
- HR responsibility
Duties:
- We are looking for someone who is able to manage all aspects of the warehouse. You will be responsible for the smooth process of receiving goods, storage, picking, production and dispatching of customers goods.
- Oversee maintenance operations of warehouse equipment. Motivate, organise, and encourage teamwork within the workforce to ensure productivity targets are not only met but ideally exceeded.
- Plan work rotas, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results.
- Continual review of layout and efficient space utilisation of the Main Warehouse.
- Support and enhance the warehouse team's skills and knowledge through internal and external training and development.
- Strong decision making and problem-solving skills.
