WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Plan, coordinate & supervise the Warehouse operations team(s) on the delivery of safety, service, accuracy and cost KPI's.
  • Oversee exceptional performance levels on site across all areas of the operation including, but not restricted to, goods in, processing, inventory control, fulfilment, picking, dispatch and returns.
  • Ensure all inbound & outbound shipments are planned, actioned and adhere to SLA. Shipments should adhere at all times to regulatory requirements
  • Supports the Warehousing team to attract, acquire, retain and develop the necessary talent to continuously improve team performance and capability.
  • Be the point of contact within the service for troubleshooting, customer services issues, approvals, first-level escalations, HR activity
  • Assist with cross functional management teams to provide the best possible service and cost to our customers.
  • Assist with the delivery of Business Plans, KPI's, values and sure EOS people processes are delivered and embedded.
  • Prepare reports or documentation to share with key stakeholders to help deliver great service at the best possible cost for the organization and our partners.
  • Assist with development and maintenance of SOPs - ensuring these are revisited at regular intervals
  • Assists and deputize for the line Director with the operational relationships with all third-party partners across the operation, ensuring timely and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure all areas of the Warehouse Operations are compliant with Health & Safety regulations
  • Play a key part in developing best in class operations and share best practice internally within the EOS warehouse network
  • Maintain only the highest levels of tidiness, cleanliness and organization across all Warehouse Operations work areas
  • Lead performance management initiatives for all teams & report into the Line Director
  • Seek out waste reduction initiatives.
  • Compile & present Operations Service reviews with internal & customer teams as required
  • Help create a positive and fun working environment


WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • 3+ years' Supervisory/Management experience within a busy Logistics/Warehouse environment.
  • Understanding of Lean principles and fundamentals of Continuous Improvement
  • Experience in leading teams in a fast pace at a high volume
  • Management experience of national/regional services
  • Ability to understand and thrive in high volume work environment during extremely busy peak seasons.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Must be proactive, data driven and show a proven ability to plan.
  • Hands-on strong problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency developing metrics planning (good working knowledge of spreadsheets)
  • Degree qualified preferred but not essential
  • Hands on can-do attitude
