This role will focus on:
As Warehouse Manager you will play a key part in BioPure’s Supply Chain. At our Dunsbury Park Facility the warehouse spans 3,160 square meters with the maximum capacity of over 2,000 pallet spaces. You will have full ownership of controlling the safe receipt, storage, retrieval and timely dispatch of goods from the warehouse. You will lead a team of people, processes and systems in order to ensure goods are received and dispatched appropriately to ensure we are continuously working towards our company vision and mission.
Key Responsibilities include
- Coordinate the safe receipt, storage, retrieval and timely dispatch of goods from the warehouse.
- Plan and organise all storage areas for products and materials to maximise space and accessibility.
- Ensure that all stocked items are labelled correctly and stored in the correct locations.
- You will be responsible for the planning, organisation and oversight of planned maintenance of warehouse machinery and equipment.
- Conduct monthly and quarterly perpetual stock counts to ensure stock reconciliation with AX and help minimise stock and financial losses.
- Lead a team of logistics operators and material handlers, delegating daily tasks to ensure equality and promoting an environment of safety and collaboration.
- You will ensure that all operators are trained to the required standard and maintain the operators training records, ensuring they are complete and up to date.
- You will be responsible for maintaining the safety and cleanliness of all warehouse facilities including loading bays, racking, aisles, workstations and desks.
- Ensure all shipments out of the warehouse have the correct documentation to avoid delays.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Commercial experience working as a Warehouse Manager ideally within a manufacturing environment.
- Significant experience in managing and leading a team to achieve shared objectives.
- Experience of the handling and storage of cleanroom manufactured products including knowledge of BS EN ISO 9001 and cGMP standards.
- In-depth understanding of custom documentation requirements and freight forwarders.
- You will be confident in managing and leading perpetual stock counts on a monthly and quarterly basis.
