We are a fine food and beverage distributor looking for a Warehouse Supervisor/Team Leader to join our busy warehouse team.
The Role:
The role will be to oversee the efficient running of the warehouse ensuring the accurate dispatch of customers’ orders. Tasks will be varied in nature from overseeing and supporting with the picking, processing, and packing B2B and B2C orders to receiving stock away and other supervisory and warehouse duties.
The successful applicant will need to be a confident communicator who enjoys working with a team, understands the importance of accuracy within a warehouse, and has a positive attitude, technical ability, and willingness to carry out all tasks set out. We enjoy providing a quality service to all our customers by maintaining a friendly and personable touch. Most importantly the successful candidate must be able to fit into this environment.
Responsibilities
As our Warehouse Supervisor/Team Leader, you will be responsible for a small team of Warehouse Operatives, ensuring a safe working environment and supervising and reporting the effectiveness of warehousing activities and performance.
- Overseeing the unloading and checking of deliveries from suppliers.
- To provide a safe working environment, adhering to Health, Safety & Environmental procedures and ensuring they are always understood and practiced by the team.
- Measure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities and individual employees performance.
- Supervise and control order picking, stock replenishment and everyday duties.
- Identify training needs to ensure all operatives are trained in accordance with the company operating procedures.
- Ensure equipment has the relevant checks made and records maintained.

- Computer Literate
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferable but full training will be provided
