sSpecialists in providing engineered above ground drainage and water supply systems, Polypipe Building Services leverages offsite fabrication to design and deliver solutions to mechanical and public health engineers, M&E contractors as well as local authorities. Polypipe Building Services houses well-known industry brand Terrain and has been delivering systems to commercial, high rise residential, healthcare, education and leisure projects for over 50 years.

Responsibilities:

• Operational leadership and responsibility for managing a safe and efficient warehouse operation, where there is a need for exceptional customer service.
• Ensure that warehouse operational costs are managed within budget.
• Develop and maintain effective KPI’s that will enable proactive performance measurement of the Warehouse processes.
• Main point of contact for internal communication with our customer service team.
• Develop a culture based on health & safety, performance, engagement, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure customer service levels exceed expectations through effective communication, planning and achievement of KPI targets.
• Ensure that stock accuracy is maintained through process adherence and effective stock control.
• Communicate effectively with and monitor performance of our distribution contractors, and work closely with our internal transport team to ensure our supply chain operations are efficient.
• Develop an effective training plan that will underpin our desire for high team performance and individual growth.

Requirements:

• Have previous experience of Warehouse management for a team of 20+.
• Require a good understanding of inbound and outbound Warehouse processes and stock control.
• Have an ability to lead and develop a large team and implement successful change in order to increase operational efficiency.
• Require a good understanding of IFS or a similar ERP system.
• Relevant business and operational qualifications will be an advantage.
• Require a good understanding of occupational Health & Safety.
