The position - Warehouse Manager
We are looking for a talented Warehouse and Logistics Manager to support the company through ongoing growth. This role will be responsible for all inbound and outbound shipping for suppliers and customers.
You will facilitate import and export requirements, ensuring all relevant documentation is compliant to ensure smooth transit of any goods into and out of the company and will deliver excellent service levels to ensure on time delivery to customers.
You will keep accurate records and be aware of reporting requirements for HMRC and waste returns.
As the Warehouse and Logistics Manager you will be working with internal and external customer stakeholders and will establish and manage the expectations of those individuals.
You will report into the Operations, Logistics and Planning Manager and work alongside all departments. The function is a centralised function and provides services to all areas of the business.

Key accountabilities
- Coordinate and execute all activities related to inbound and outbound shipping for suppliers and customers.
- Inventory Management – ensure inventory is accurate and available to the production and repairs team as requested.
- Technological Advancement – propose, develop and implement latest technology within the Warehouse to directly benefit processes such as MRP and S&OP.
- Process and Procedure Development related to Inventory and Logistical function.
- Warehouse Management – including adherence to health and safety legislation.
- Leadership – Develop, Train and review needs of staff.
- Line Management of Warehouse Operatives including Appraisals. Performance Reviews, Development plans etc.
- Accurate Record Keeping and awareness of reporting requirements for HMRC and waste returns.

Knowledge, Education and Experience
Required:
- Familiar with shipping documentation such as bills of discharge, commercial invoices, packing slips, certificates of origin are an added advantage.
- Knowledge of Parent Company Governance Framework

PC and IT literate – with good working knowledge of MS office programme
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a B2C Warehouse Environment
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Leadership of teams
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Warehouse Management and Inventory Controls
- Key understanding of OTIF and Inventory Metrics
- Proven Track Record of Automation implementation within a Warehouse
- Minimum of 5 years’ in Design, Development and Implementation of Warehouse and Inventory Management Processes and Procedures
Desirable:
Experience in EPICOR.
