About the Position
We have an excellent opportunity available for an Interim Warehouse Manager to make a difference at Kraft Heinz. The role lies within the S&OP and Logistics team of Northern Europe and is based in our National Distribution Centre (NDC) in Wigan.
You’ll be part of a hard-working team- driving the operations alongside peers- with a continuous improvement mentality- in a fast-paced environment. You’ll be reporting into the Head of physical distribution Northern Europe.
The delivery of excellent warehouse service under the budgeted cost and the management of the 3PL warehousing provider will be your responsibilities. You will have an opportunity to identify improvement activities and leave your mark on how the KH warehouses operate in UK- as you will be responsible for our 2 warehouses located in Wigan (the factory finished goods warehouse and the national distribution centre warehouse).
In brief- you will be responsible for:.
Management and support of the 3rd party logistics provider to deliver the service and financial targets.
Build a strong relationship with the transport operations (4PL)- the transport manager (KH) and the logistics support team- promoting one-team mentality- by addressing challenges together and supporting each other.
Maintain and further enhance the warehouse routines (daily- weekly- monthly quarterly).
Identify and deliver further improvement opportunities within warehousing- by actively driving root cause analysis and continuous improvement activities.
Collaborate with the wider KH team (commercial- finance- projects) to support the business needs.
Track and report KPIs and perform root cause analysis for transport.
Support the digitalization of warehouse reporting.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
At least 5 years of experience in supply chain- logistics or warehousing roles
Experience in managing suppliers- logistics service providers.
Strong knowledge of Excel (pivots- advanced excel formulas etc)
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of SAP is preferred.
Collaborative and able to influence a wide group of internal and external partners.
Great teammate ready to lean in and support the wider logistics team
Language Knowledge: English mandatory
