Job description
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Warehouse Manager to lead and improve the quality and efficiency of a warehouse team for a market-leading, highly successful global reaching distributor of prestige car, tuning, and crash repair parts. Utilising their newly introduced bespoke Warehouse Management System (WMS), you will be ready to accommodate growth and take their warehouse operations to the next level.
You'll have at least five years of experience in an internet-based global reaching B2C business and may be looking for your first managerial post. You'll be familiar with WMS systems and hand-held devices and have experience working in an automated or partially automated warehouse.
You'll be able to demonstrate a problem-solving approach, be comfortable manipulating and interpreting data, and be able to prioritise and plan the team's workload.
As the warehouse manager, you will guide and mentor a team of 11. You will be optimising the balance between packing sizes and safety, getting hands-on with your team, and ensuring their day-to-day tasks are seamless and that they have everything they need to perform at the highest level.
You will be focused on minimising failure costs and maximising value for money with their transport partners. You will also ensure that their supply partners are packing their products optimally.
You will be the driving force behind measurable service improvements and continually identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
You will be the diplomat with other stakeholders, building strong relationships and optimising outcomes. Last but not least, you will be the safety guardian, ensuring all site H&S policies are followed to the letter.
