Warehouse Administrator
Sywell
Permanent
Full-time (37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday)
£22,000 - £26,000

Impact Recruitment are looking for a Warehouse Administrator for our client in the Northampton area. This role will be supporting the Warehouse Manager and you will be working very closely with warehouse and supply chain teams to ensure that customers receive their orders in a timely manner.

Key duties and responsibilities for the Warehouse Administrator:

· Monitor the warehouse email inbox and respond to enquiries in a timely manner.

· Track customer deliveries and raise claims with couriers where appropriate for lost or damaged goods.

· Work closely with the Supply Chain Coordinator to review, place and chase purchase orders to ensure the timely delivery of stock.

· Monitor and maintain stock data, including updating expected due dates to feed the wider business.

· Develop and maintain positive working relationships with suppliers, logistics and transport providers.

· Work closely with the Sales and Warehouse Teams to ensure the accurate and efficient shipping of customer orders, including limiting the impact of back orders.

· Liaise with transport companies and the warehouse to ensure supplier deliveries are booked in and communicated with the wider business.

· General operations support including answering queries and maintaining data.

Key experience and skills required for the Warehouse Administrator:

· Previous experience in a warehouse, transport, or supply chain role

· Understanding of supply chain processes and demand planning desirable.

· Well organised with the ability to work to tight deadlines.

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

· Knowledge of relevant software applications; Microsoft Word and Excel as a minimum.

· Advanced knowledge of Excel beneficial.

· Working knowledge of Sage 200 an advantage.
