Job description
We are a steel stock holder seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee the daily operations of our warehouse. The ideal candidate will have experience managing a team and ensuring efficient and effective warehouse operations.
Responsibilities:-
- Manage and supervise warehouse staff
- Oversee receiving, storage, and distribution of products
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Develop and implement warehouse policies and procedures
- Monitor stock levels
- Participate in weekly and monthly management meetings - raise any issues/concerns, or positives feedback relating to Sales/Transport/Warehousing in relation to effective management and improvement of business.
- Assist with warehouse duties such as picking material, cutting material, loading and unloading wagons.
Experience:- At least 3 years of experience in warehouse management- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal- Knowledge of warehouse safety regulations.
