Job description
Central Supplies is a food distribution company, distributing a large range of food products nationally to the Wholesale and Cash and Carry sectors. The company employs 150 team members and is a key business unit in the wider Kitwave Group.
Reporting to Head of Operations the duties of this varied full-time role include:
Managing a team of 3 Shift Managers and 60 Warehouse Workers
Responsible for motivating the team to reach productivity targets.
Organizing the loading and unloading of vehicles.
Responsible for site security.
Overseeing the Warehouse Management System.
Other general duties as required by Head of Operations
Hours of Work- To be agreed
Holiday Entitlement- 28 days including Bank Holidays
The Ideal Candidate will have good motivational and organizational skills, have experience of working with a Warehouse Management System and RF picking, the ability to work well under pressure. Experience of Man Management and disciplinary proceedures required.
