Job Title: Warehouse Goods In / Goods Out Despatch Operator
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Location: Radcliffe, Manchester
Hours of Work: 8.30am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)
Salary: Competitive
We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Goods In / Goods Out Despatch Operator to join our team based at our Radcliffe warehouse and production site. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the goods in and despatch processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accepting deliveries from 3rd party suppliers
- Processing items from our sensor production facility (on site)
- Using a Computerised stock control system to book products in
- Using our product labeling software.
- Packaging products appropriately for storage
- Processing items into a predetermined shelf, pallet or floor locations.
- Picking & Checking Sales Orders & Component List Activities
- Reading Sales orders and Component lists
- Retrieving the correct number & type and placing it in a production container or on the packing bench.
- Checking sensor production jobs with the appropriate test equipment (meters, rulers, dimension checking and function checking)
- Using a de-reeling machine and decanting appropriate cable to smaller drums / reels.
- Picking, labeling and appropriately packing items based on weight and fragility of each order
- Booking despatches onto our courier systems
- Accurately labeling all despatches
- Loading of goods into the courier’s vehicles (a pedestrian FLT license is an advantage)
- End of day clean-up and put away activities
- Stock taking
- General warehouse practices
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar role
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Computer literate, with experience using stock control and label printing software
- Knowledge of Health and Safety practices
- Pedestrian FLT license is an advantage
