Here at GXO, we are currently on the search for a Warehouse First Line Manager to join our team in Feltham, on the Costa & Whitbread . You'll be responsible for a team of Warehouse Operatives, leading and monitoring colleagues to reach objectives and targets whilst adhering to all policies. This is a full-time, position working any 5 nights from 7, consisting of the hours of 22:00 - 06:00. Pay, benefits and more: We're looking to offer a salary of up to £38,000.00 per annum. In addition, we offer 33 days annual leave inclusive of bank holidays. What you'll do on a typical day: Carry out the day-to-day management of a team of warehouse colleagues, managing performance, setting KPI's and driving continuous improvement Ensure effective communication is delivered to colleagues and management teams on a daily basis Focus on colleague development by implementing a consistent appraisal process Take responsibilities for Health and Safety and lead by example to ensure consistent compliance What you need to succeed at GXO: Experience leading a team of warehouse colleagues within a large, fast paced warehouse environment, ideally with temperature-controlled exposure Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Experience managing conflicting priorities, with the ability to plan and organise a warehouse operation Strong IT skills, including warehouse systems and Microsoft Office We engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.
