Position: Warehouse First Line Manager
Location: Wakefield
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift pattern: Rotating Shift Pattern - Any 5 from 7. Working 6am - 2:30pm, 1:30pm - 10:00pm

- Accountable for overseeing the day to day operation of the warehouse and management of a team of Warehouse Operatives
- Promoting excellent standards within the team to ensure colleagues are managed effectively to achieve all required standards of operational performance
- Have clear understanding of the Objectives and KPI's applicable to your role and to your team
- Conducting probation reviews, performance reviews, back to works and weekly 1:1s
- Ensuring that the Warehouse staff have received relevant and up to date training

- Proven experience within a management role in a warehouse environment is essential
- Experience working within an ambient operation in the food industry is desirable
- Strong engagement and communication skills
- Extensive experience in coaching and development of a team
- Able to work and adapt to a fast paced environment
- Excellent IT skills - Using Microsoft Office Programs such as Excel, Outlook etc.
