Warehouse/Delivery Driver
A position has recently become available for a Driver/Warehouse Operative to join our busy team at Edmundson Electrical Grimsby. This role will involve both driving and warehouse duties.

The Role

Driver

Packing the goods in the delivery vehicle in an organised manner that matches the order in which the deliveries will be made

• Planning the shortest and best routes to customers by taking factors like roadblocks and traffic into consideration
• Using GPS navigation apps and knowledge of the area to deliver packages to customers on time
• Doing daily maintenance checks on the delivery vans and informing management of any issues
• Interacting with customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Unloading packages at the destination and getting clients to sign the necessary paperwork

Warehouse

• Checking and putting away supplier deliveries, dealing with any shortages or damaged stock
• Picking customer orders, loading vans and making regular checks to ensure all orders are picked correctly
• Keeping the warehouse environment clean and tidy and maintaining equipment

· Packing and wrapping on goods ready to be sent out on carriers

• Previous warehouse experience

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £8.78-£12.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

• Bonus scheme

Ability to commute/relocate:

• GRIMSBY: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• Delivery driver experience: 1 year (preferred)
• Driving: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (required)
