YOUR ROLE


Our Operation in Swindon is looking for a Warehouse Team Leader, where you will manage warehouse functions ensuring that operational activities are smooth and efficient, along with making sure we need and exceed customer expectations.


WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?


Reporting into the Senior Warehouse Controller, you will lead a small team of warehousing colleagues and you will provide management control through effective planning, organisation and communication to ensure all KPI’s and service levels are achieved. You will take accountability for the general people management on shift whilst implementing and embedding a culture of employee engagement and drive operational excellence to keep your team motivated and focused to perform all activities. You will take responsibility of maintaining absenteeism and lateness record and ensuring that all colleagues are fully trained.

You will build an excellent working relationship with the customer and internal stakeholders ensuring all customer requirements are fulfilled to the highest standard.

This is a Monday to Friday role, where you will need to commit to 05:30 to 14:00 – Monday to Thursday and 05:30 to 13:00 on week 1, followed by 13:30 to 22:00 Monday to Thursday and 13:30 to 21:00 on Friday the next week. You will also be able to work some Saturdays if required.


WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?


Our ideal candidate will have a proven experience of managing a diverse team and demonstrable experience of absence reporting, and overseeing training. You will already be operating within a warehousing or production environment, able to demonstrate experience of building and developing exceptional client relationships, be a skilled decision maker, influencer and problem solver who is able to interact and engage with colleagues at all levels.

It goes without saying that you will be IT proficient able to use various systems and MS packages with strong report writing and statistical investigative skills.


You will have a flexible approach to working hours to support operations as and when needed.
