Responsibilities
Receives and verifies delivered materials.
- Receives materials, via vendor delivery, and reviews purchase order to verify the purchase and delivery of requested materials. Offloads deliveries and verifies against the vendor packing list and purchase orders. Operates forklift to move, store, and retrieve warehouse inventory. Issues warehouse inventory and fills material requests such as repair/construction materials, plumbing, AC, and carpentry supplies and materials.
- Documents receipt and disbursement of materials by entering data in AiM. Materials include fuel deliveries which are entered in Fuel Master Plus.
- Stages special orders in designated warehouse space and tracks the release of these materials. Maintains a listing of all materials in the staging phase. Receives and distributes uniforms for shops. Assists with annual and periodic inventory activities. Operates University vehicles as needed Participates in reviewing purchase orders to verify the purchase and delivery of requested material offloads deliveries.
May serve as backup to warehouse staff and receive deliveries and provide assistance as required assuming responsibility for the management of the warehouse as well as operating Fuel Master. Receives and assists with disposal of hazardous waste materials and collection program.
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalency and one year of experience or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to one year.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Knowledge of office practices, procedures, and etiquette.
- Experience using basic computer functions and applications, including Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to meet physical demands of the position including lifting/moving items that weigh up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- A valid State of Florida or Georgia driver's license, or the ability to obtain prior to hire.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of and ability to interpret and apply related federal, state, and local laws, ordinances, rules and regulations.
- Knowledge of and the ability to interpret and apply related University policies, procedures, principles, and practices.

Anticipated Salary Range
The minimum hiring salary for this position is $32,920.00 commensurate with experience and education.
