We are one of the UK’s leading providers of specialist packing and international shipping to the fine art, antiques and interior design industry, with offices near Heathrow, the Midlands and New York.

We are looking to recruit a Fine Art Packer/Warehouse Assistant to join our growing team in our Langley facility.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

· Professional handling, packing and crating of sensitive and valuable antiques, furniture, sculptures and fine art

· Packing and crating for local, domestic and international transport

· Professionally and efficiently wrap, load, span, tie in artworks within a truck/container to keep them safe and stable during transport

· Inspecting artworks to determine how, where, when, or if, to touch them and how to pack for transport

· Visit client premises to conduct site surveys, to ascertain access, best practises etc

· Expertly Installing artworks, sculptures and high end furniture

· Efficiently handling paperwork including bills of lading, labelling, timesheets and detailed condition reports with photos

· Communicating with operations team throughout the day

· Thorough understanding and use of proper packing materials for all surfaces

Key Attributes

· Thorough understanding and a minimum of 5 years experience with industry standards for handling, packing, transporting and installing high end furniture, art and antiques

· Ability to efficiently wrap/pack sensitive and valuable furniture, works of art and antiques

· Be physically fit and have the ability to work comfortably on ladders, scaffolding or mechanized lifts

· Professional appearance and demeanour

· Familiar with art terminology

· Driving licence

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £24,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
