Do you enjoy working as part of a team, do you like helping people, and don’t mind working outside, then we may have the role for you, a Warehouse Assistant, we call them Yard Assistants. You don't need to come from our sector or even know our products, as long as you have the ability to provide great customer service, we will support you with a great onboarding experience.
Our Inverness branch is on Harbour Road, Longman South, IV1 1SY, just a 10 minute walk from the city centre. We have 12 colleagues and 3 delivery vehicles, we are a busy branch with many deliveries in and out through the day and see over 20 Trade customers a day, most we know on a first name basis. The Branch Manager has created a fun and professional atmosphere where everyone helps one another.
Hours - Monday - Friday 7.30am - 5pm No weekends (We are flexible with the hours - this can be discussed at interview stage)

What will I be doing?
No one day is the same as the next in Keyline branch life, but now that you have completed your onboarding, here are a few pointers:
Candidates will need to be 18yrs or over, as you will be driving a forklift, but don't worry full training is provided.
As part of the Warehouse team, you will be on the front line dealing with our customers that come into our yard, so it's key to be helpful and friendly at all times.
You will be based in the Warehouse and yard area, processing our customer orders, loading and unloading customer and company vehicles. Also unloading our products from supplier deliveries and accurately book them in the branch warehouse.

Someone that is physically active, this role is located outside and will involve lifting heavy materials and use of manual handling equipment, such as forklift- Someone that has a friendly and outgoing personality who is happy to communicate face to face with customers and build strong relationships
