Job description

We currently have an opportunity for a Warehouse Assistant to join our small team and work alongside the Operations team. We are a food business and so a love and passion for food is important to us.

The role of the Warehouse Assistant is to support the day-to-day operations of goods in/out, including;

Picking & Packing daily orders - Online and wholesale customers
Maintenance of finished goods minimum level of fill
Maintenance and reporting of stock integrity
Receiving, handling, storing, picking, and packing activities within the warehouse, ensuring quality standards are met at every turn.
Detail oriented, and able to track multiple facets of the warehouse at any given time. You must achieve inventory accuracy, coordinate orders, and track shipping times, ultimately overseeing the fulfilment of product orders.
Organisation, direction and training of any new warehouse employees
Maintain a safe and healthy work environment
Establish, follow and ensure standards and procedures are compliant with regulatory requirements

About you:

Ideally, you will have experience working within a similar role with 3+ years’ experience in a warehouse

Proficient knowledge of warehouse procedure and policy

Strong team player

Ability to grow/develop role
