Salary : From £27,000 - £33,000 (Full time / Part time pro rata) dependent on experience and role
Hours: are flexible, Full time to Part Time is available and can be designed around any needs.
Where: We are looking for someone locally to attend an office however you can choose what office you want to work from East Grinstead / Caterham or Redhill. Hybrid Work from home is possible, and we would be happy to discuss this.

What's the job?
- Hours are flexible, Full time to Part Time is available and can be designed around any needs.
- Managing the daily accounting and bookkeeping for clients. From VAT, CIS as well as a small amount of payroll ( to keep the knowledge fresh) . In addition sole traders accounts and up to trial balance for limited company accounts. If you don't have all these skills we can assist with training in aspects or alter the job spec to accommodate to your skill set.
- Keeping up to date with statutory deadlines using our Taxcalc programme (training will be given)
- Training available if you want to expand your knowledge and expertise
- If you want to progress for qualifications, no problem we will support all training, financially and with time.
- Using Quickbooks and Dext software to complete the job.
What do you need?
- AAT qualifications or Part Qualified or Qualified by Expereince
- Minimum 2 years bookkeeping experience
- To be able to understand, complete and file VAT returns without assistance although we are their to support.
- Good with Client Management and a keen eye on detail
- Knowledge of Quickbooks and/or Xero
- Understanding of Self Assessments and Sole Traders an advantage but training can be given
- Payroll knowledge ( training can be given) on Bright Pay
- People person, we have a great & supportive team and want to add to that.
- Your happt to talk to clients!
- Salary and hours subject to negotiation to fit your needs however ideally this would be Monday to Friday
