Job description
MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:
Stock management, receiving all yarn at Albion, weighing/counting and recording accurately in an easy to follow stock location system. Issuing yarn to workshops for production and returning unused materials to stock once production is completed.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
o Physically receiving of the yarn from different suppliers, weighing the yarn and then stocking of the yarn in the warehouse.
o Physically issuing of the yarn from the warehouse onto the production floor.
o Storing all yarn correctly according to defined Albion stock control procedures. Keeping stock room tidy and well organized.
o Maintaining the cleanliness and follow the safety procedures of the warehouse.
o Job profile demands heavy lifting of the yarn boxes.
o May be asked to assist in the day-to-day operations of the logistics and warehouse department.
o Assisting in the yarn stock take/inventory.
o Assisting in weighing and recording all yarn deliveries, when necessary.
o Assist with delivery out of all packed goods, helping to make sure packing is done correctly and on time.
o Helping in QC department in Packing whenever needed.

o Strong organisational skills
o Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively in a fast paced environment.
o Physically strong.
Job Types: Full-time, Temp to perm
Salary: £10.50-£11.00 per hour
