JOB TITLE: Warehouse Assistant

ACCOUNTABLE TO: Warehouse & Logistics Manager and Financial Controller

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Motivated, Punctual & Responsible.
• Working with a safe mentality and reporting risks.
• Accurate pulling & despatching of sales orders.
• Accurate stock control & keeping of records.
• High levels of Customer Service at all times.

SCOPE AND NATURE OF JOB
Pick, pack and despatch all Sales Orders in a timely manner and in accordance with company guidelines.

• Ensure that all sales orders are presented inline with company guidelines and with high levels of Customer service at all times.
• Ensure all orders are despatched the same day they are received, in line with company guidelines and guarantees offered to customers.
• Advise the Warehouse & Logistics Manager of any reason an order is unable to be despatched the day it is received. Any stock shortages as soon as they are known. Any incidents or accidents that may occur.
• Ensure paperwork for completed orders are scanned quickly to the invoicing clerk for daily invoicing.
• Receive Goods In and ensure they are checked against supplier delivery notes in accordance with best methods and company guidelines.
• Replenish stock of finished goods from raw materials and in accordance with company guidelines. Accurate completion of all relevant paperwork for stock movements.
• Treat all stock and other company property with respect and care.
• Take ownership of the department ticket system.
• Maintain daily the despatch area in a clean and tidy condition.
• Maintain stock area and shelves in a tidy condition.
• Ensure all end of day procedures are completed in a timely manner and in line with company procedures.
• Constantly work to a safety-first culture & report any issues.
• Responsible and strict usage of barriers, FLT and any tools required to perform tasks.
• Production of Die Cut orders using Clicker Press as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £23,000.00 per year
