Quantum Detectors is a spinout from Diamond Light Source, based at Harwell Campus. We develop technology and provide a route to market for instrumentation developed by the Detector Group at Diamond and other internationally renowned institutions. Our well-respected products are installed at prestigious research facilities around the world.
The successful candidate will join a vibrant team who are passionate about distributing cutting edge technology to the world’s leading laboratories. In this essential standalone role, you will be responsible for processing, picking and packing orders accurately to meet customer demand. You will also receive, classify and pack all the materials arriving into the warehouse.
The role
- Process and packing customer orders for shipping to ensure all customers receive full, accurate & on time orders
- Monitoring materials entering and exiting the warehouse
- Receiving and checking deliveries; booking goods in an accurate and timely manner
- Checking for any discrepancies or quality issues
- Maintain knowledge of products and processes involved in the day-to-day delivery of goods
- To contribute, be involved in and actively support the continuous improvement process within the business
- Track the purchase and delivery orders of products in the warehouse and deal with any problems or delays

This permanent full-time position offers a 35-hour working week, 30 days of holiday (plus the 8 bank holidays) and a generous pension contribution.
