Accountabilities and Main Duties:
As part of the warehousing team, your typical day will be supporting and aiding the day-to-day running of the stores. Ensuring that the kit is correct and ready on time for our contract managers will be at the forefront of your role to enable the efficiency throughout.
Key Tasks/Areas, Duties and Responsibilities:
- Pick and pack orders for the contracts department ensuring all materials are correct.
- Liaise with project managers and supervisors to establish collection requirements of materials including definitive dates and times.
- Work closely with the purchasing department to ensure ordered materials requested by project managers will be received in good time.
- Ensure that all stock levels are adequate to fulfil requests and liaise with site teams’ supervisors regarding their van stock of consumable items.
- Arrange the booking of the correct transport option that is required and load the goods for delivery via couriers.
- Allocate picked materials to corresponding project work orders using company management system (ERP).
- Receive deliveries of goods, check and record the delivery for correct contents and quantities using the ERP and ensure they are stored in the correct and appropriate locations within the warehouse. These will be readily accessible for additions to existing jobs and for the easy identification by site teams.
- Any damaged or missing items from deliveries should be reported upon receipt to the purchasing department.
- Manage all contracts department returns. Returned materials should be allocated to corresponding work orders on the ERP on a weekly basis. Any items for scrap will placed in the correct locations for recycling.
- Assisting the team with regular stock checks as required.
- Collection/delivery of materials from suppliers or to teams on an ad-hoc basis
- General housekeeping should be carried out daily. The workspace shall be kept clean and clear of hazards. Waste will be managed efficiently, and recycling carried out wherever possible. All cardboard to be re-used for packaging or disposed of using the dedicated recycling bins on site.
- Carry out any other duties as requested by management in the interests of the business.

Salary: £22,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
