Coffee World UK Ltd are the first coffee roasters based in Milton, Cambridge. Due to continued expansion we require a Warehouse Assistant with the right skills to join us.

The role is a key part of the Warehouse Team and you will be required to work both individually and within a small team. Throughout the day the requirements will vary from picking, packing, stock control and maintenance of the cleanliness and tidiness of the warehouse. In addition to this you will be responsible for:

• Receiving and putting away stock
• Optimizing storage space and organising stock
• Assist in loading vehicle for deliveries
• Picking stock
• Packing coffee manually and on automatic packing machines
• Using machinery – grinders, packing equipment
• Labelling packaging, products and repacking goods without damage
• Assisting the Master Roaster
• Resolving stock issues
• Ensuring the warehouse is kept clean, tidy and safe
• Compliance with relevant Health and Safety standards

Attributes:

• Good time keeping and organisational skills
• A capable mindset, being able to carry and lift coffee sacks
• Accurate counting abilities and a clear capability of checking stock items
• The ability to work in a warehouse environment where the majority of the time will be standing or walking and in outdoor temperatures
• A motivated and hard-working attitude
• Interest in coffee with the possibility of learning how to roast!

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From £13.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Cambridge: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

• Warehouse experience: 1 year (preferred)
