Warehouse Assistant

An exciting position has become available for a full time Warehouse Assistant based in Bishopbriggs.

Our client is a fast growing and ambitious family run sales & distribution company, working in the engineering sector specifically process industries. They specialise in valves, instrumentation and all associated equipment to distillation, food & drink, biomass, pharmaceutical and related industries.

The company have a "service first" driven approach to delivering the best service within the industry.

The purpose of this role is to work alongside our Warehouse Manager which will involve:

· Receiving and processing incoming stock and materials

· Processing orders including picking, packing and assembling products

· Ensuring the warehouse is kept clean and tidy and ensuring items are stored in the correct locations

· Liaising with couriers to organise collections and deliveries

Required attributes:

  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks
  • Good physical condition, with the ability to lift heavy items and stand for long periods of time
