Summary
This is an opportunity within our team for a motivated person to work for the UK subsidiary of Dustcontrol AB, Sweden, based in Milton Keynes.

As a Warehouse and Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that involve selling and supporting our product range, as well as handling the logistics of incoming and outgoing orders. You will answer incoming enquiries from customers and provide them with accurate quotations and sales orders using our in-house system. You will also assist with incoming deliveries, outgoing order picking and courier dispatch systems, ensuring that the orders are processed and prepared in a timely manner. You will also perform any other ad hoc duties required by the Office Manager.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated and keen to learn. They will have a high attention to detail whilst being reliable and well equipped to deal with the day-to-day demands placed upon them, which may occasionally fall outside the 8.30am-5pm window. Main Duties
- All aspects of managing goods and shipping supplies into and out of the warehouse.
- Accurate picking and packing of sales orders for timely despatch.
- Stock control, organising stock and looking after or preparing incoming and outgoing demonstration equipment.
- Keeping the building neat and tidy to a high standard of presentation.
- Answer incoming calls.
- Sales order processing using a computer-based accounts package.
- Booking transport collections for outgoing orders.
- Provide general support as necessary.
- Report to the Office Manager.
- Plan and manage time to be as efficient as possible.
- Develop open and constructive working relationships with all colleagues.
Requirements
- A proactive/can do attitude towards helping the business grow.
- Previous Warehouse or Sales experience is an advantage.
- Has good day to day planning capabilities, this will be essential for the candidate to be successful in this role.
- Experience of incoming call handling.
- Excellent customer interaction skills.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Excellent attention to detail such that customer orders and information are accurate.
- Computer literate (MS Office).
- Be comfortable working alone or with others.
- A willingness to learn and develop a technical knowledge of our products.
- Be customer focused and maintain a high standard of performance.
- A good standard of written and spoken English in all communication.
- Be comfortable with working with numbers and mathematical calculations.
Training
- Candidates are not expected to have knowledge of the Dustcontrol product range and therefore on-going, in-house coaching will be provided.
- Training will also be provided on all company IT and telephone systems.
- Opportunities will arise for further training and Dustcontrol UK will support continued personal development where appropriate, following discussion between the employee and their line manager.

Package
- £23k-£25k pa depending on experience.
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays. (3 of the 25 days are enforced around the Christmas period each year).

- Pension contributions in addition to basic salary (under current legislation).
- Hours are 8.30am-5pm Mon to Thurs and 8.30am-4.30pm Friday, 1hr lunch.
- Free on-site parking.
