Job Title – CAD Engineer

Reporting To – Engineering Manager

Hours of Work - 8am to 5pm Monday - Thursday; 8am to 3pm Fridays

Salary/Wage - £ Neg

As a busy expanding Company, we urgently require additional Draughtspersons to join our Engineering Department.

Sabeti Wain Aerospace Ltd is a multi-national Company leading the field within the Design & Supply of soft furnishings for Commercial Airlines.

Personal Attributes :

• Good working knowledge of IT and CAD software/technical drawings
• Self-motivated, working as part of a team and under own initiative
• Time management and organisational skills
• The ability to ‘problem solve’
• Good attention to detail

Specific Responsibilities :

• As part of a Team providing Engineering Drawings, Bill of Materials and operating instructions, to an agreed criteria, quality and timescale
• Supporting day-to-day drawing activities within the Engineering & Design Department
• Issue and control of drawings to Company procedures, maintenance of filing systems and general office ‘housekeeping’
• Control parts identification and BOM compilation

This position requires the following key skills and attributes :

• Working experience of CAD is preferred, with basic level of CAD needed.
• Experience working with Bill of Materials is preferred but training can be given
• Good knowledge of MS Office is essential
• The ability to communicate (both written and verbal) clearly and effectively in English

• AutoCAD: 2 years (preferred)
• Bill of Materials: 2 years (preferred)
