Job description

Villages Brewery is hiring. We're looking for a new Warehouse and Packaging Operative to join the Villages’ family, full-time at the brewery in Deptford, south-east London.

1. WAREHOUSE MANAGEMENT

• Warehouse management (goods in and out)
• Stock management
• Ordering packaging materials
• Forklift operation

2. ORDER PREPARATION

• Preparing trade, wholesale, and web store orders for collection
• Local customer deliveries and collections
• Managing web store customer enquiries

3. PACKAGING

• Working with the production team to organise all packaging, both cans and kegs
• Packing cases of cans, and manually shifting 30L kegs

4. BREWERY OPERATIONS

• Keeping all areas of the warehouse and external brewery facilities clean
• Representing Villages at industry events

Experience and skill requirements

• At least 2 years of warehouse work experience
• Ability to work independently as well as being part of a small, close-knit team
• Good problem solving skills
• Good communication skills
• Good time management
• Attention to detail to ensure tasks are completed right the first time
• Operate a forklift (a licence is preferable, however training will be provided)
• Ability to lift 25kg sacks of malt and move 30L kegs
• A passion for good beer and community

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £24,500.00-£27,500.00 per year

Experience:

• Warehouse experience: 2 years (required)

• Forklift Licence (preferred)
