Warehouse Administrator (4 on / 4 off)

Due to exciting business growth we are growing our team of Warehouse Administrators to work with one of our partners; a Global FMCG brand. We are looking for candidates who have experience in Warehouse Administration, who will be based in the Gatehouse to support the supervisor and management team on a day to day basis.

Day: 7am – 7pm | Night: 7pm – 7am
About the role
As a Warehouse Administrator in a very busy, terminal, working with one of our key global partners, your role with us will play an important one in the day to day operations. You will handle a variety of queries internally with colleagues, and externally with customers, so no two days will be the same.
Your responsibilities will be:
Receiving and handling orders from customers in a professional manner
Ensuring delivery paperwork is completed to an accurate level
Checking details of goods against intake notes
Complete job files and obtaining any missing information
Ensure logistics filing system is maintained and updated
Prepare and provide documentation/reports for customers, management, agents, and other departments within the Group
Maintain all appropriate records to ensure the efficient running of the operations
Support paperwork for supervisors / management as required
General administration duties as required

Strong administration / IT skills

Ability to work to deadlines
Previous experience with SAP and Transporeon systems would be an advantage but not essential

What you will need
Required criteria
- Right to work in the UK
- 2 years+ Logistics / warehouse administration experience
- Good attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Knowledge of warehouse software packages and MS Office proficiency
- Ability to input, retrieve and analyse data
- Strong organisational and time management skills
Desired criteria
- Ideally have some import/export knowledge
- Experience with SAP (systems, applications, products) preferred
- Experience with Transporeon (Haulage management software) preferred
