The Gynaecology outpatients department is located in Women & Children's Hospital at Hull Royal Infirmary and is open Monday to Friday 8am – 6pm. The department is dedicated to all our outpatients and requires an enthusiastic housekeeper to ensure the smooth running of the department and uphold the high standards that are expected. The successful candidate will be joining a hard working team to deliver a great service to women in the Hull area. Due to the sensitive nature of the dept, we require a female only Ward Houe keeper and cannot consider males for this position. A great and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Full-time, Housekeeper to join our friendly and dynamic team on the Gynaecology outpatient department, Women and Children's Hospital, Hull Royal Infirmary. The Gyanecology Outpatient Department is a busy department, caring for many patients undergoing differing treatments. The successful candidate must have excellent communication and organisational skills and the ability to work independently is essential. The successful candidate will be required to work within the multi-disciplinary team and assist with ensuring a clean, safe and welcoming environment for patients and staff. This invaluable role will give great support to the Gyanecology Outpatient team with assisting, ordering and organising the department to run efficiently and smoothly. You will be required to work closely with the all members of the team including both nurses and consultants to ensure high standards of cleanliness will be maintained and basic, fundamental standards are upheld. The post holder requires compassion and empathy due to the sensitive nature of the service. HUTH has two main sites: Hull Royal Infirmary and Castle Hill Hospital with an annual budget of approximately £500 million. The Trust employs around 11,000 staff and serves an extended population of 1.25 million, delivering a number of outpatient services from locations across the area. The Trust’s secondary care service portfolio is comprehensive, covering the major medical and surgical specialties, routine and specialist diagnostic services and other clinical support services. These services are provided primarily to a catchment population of approximately 600,000 in the Hull and East Riding of Yorkshire area.
