Part time 25 hours per week ( Monday to Friday)

Permanent role

We are looking to recruit to a ward clerk position at St Michael’s Hospital supporting our team on a male mental health rehabilitation inpatient ward.

The post-holder will be required to work as part of an integrated and skill mixed team, providing effective and efficient admin support to the ward and cross-cover the admin hub on site, including cover to the reception/switchboard on a rota basis at lunchtimes.

We are looking for individuals with a positive approach who are able to build effective working relationships and who are flexible in their outlook. You will need to be able to multi-task and work autonomously but also as part of a team. Computer skills are required to undertake data inputting, collation of information, e-mails, etc. Full training will be provided for systems use, eg Carenotes (patient system), Tracking, etc.

The post-holder will need to share and demonstrate our Trust values and present a professional image, maintaining the highest standards of customer care and confidentiality.

Please note that the successful candidate will require a DBS check.
