The People Promise and CSR squad, as part of the My Belonging team, are unfolding tools and frameworks which will shape a better employee experience for all. The People Promise is the narrative and framework which will drive an improved, equitable and consistent working experience, driving attraction, engagement, retention and advocacy within JLR.


You’ll focus on bringing the People Promise to life, working with squad members to delivering the unfold and embedding plan, supporting teams across the organisation to deliver the promise and create exceptional experiences for all of our employees, whilst also improving employee engagement.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities


  • Work with the squad to develop and deliver the plan to unfold and embed the People Promise, through employee experience design, through the use of our employer brand and will include stakeholder engagement, communications, events, training, and immersion sessions.
  • Work with stakeholders and cross functional teams, inside and outside of the People Chapter to ensure delivery of initiatives that will bring the People Promise to life, driving cultural change and alignment with our company Purpose and Creators Code.
  • Create communications campaigns highlighting opportunities and experiences which bring to life stories of what makes JLR an exceptional place to work.
  • Act as an internal consultant advising on the application of the People Promise, so that employee experience content and messaging aligns with the principles.
  • Identify risks, opportunities and levers to support the unfold and embed of the People Promise, engaging with wider HR stakeholders and other cross functional teams in order to raise awareness, and promote awareness of the People Promise.
  • Engage with HR Stakeholders to enact the People Promise unfold and embed Plan
  • Be a creative problem solver generating new ideas and ways to engage our people so that they can build a higher emotional connection to JLR.
  • Identify, measure and report progress against People Promise metrics.
  • Build key relationships with other groups internal and external to My Belonging & My Opportunities, as well as stakeholder engagement as required.



What you’ll need


  • Previous experience in leading delivery of organisational-wide projects
  • Excellent organisation and planning skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong stakeholder (internal customer) management and negotiation skills.
  • Results driven, demonstrating, tenacity, drive and perseverance, with the ability to deliver in a complex, highly demanding environment.
  • Demonstrates our Creators' Code behaviours of Customer Love, Unity, Integrity, Growth and Impact.
  • Continually working hard to deliver a modern luxury experience to earn and keep our customers’ trust and loyalty.
