Waking Night Support Worker

Salary: £10.42
Real Life Options are opening a new Supported Living service in Ilkeston to provide support to people with autism, learning disabilities, and Complex needs. We will provide individualised support packages and promote independence to enable people to live a happy fulfilled life within their own homes. The purpose-built accommodation is made of individual apartments and purpose-built bungalows.
The service comprises of 12 apartments for people with mild learning disabilities, 4 bungalows for individuals with higher complex needs and 4 bungalows for people who display behaviours of concern.
The role
Hours of work are 10pm- 8am and will involve the support of any person awake in the night, ensuring required observations are undertaken as needed. General health and safety checks, some paperwork, light household tasks for example mopping communal floors. Record keeping. Responding to any unexpected emergency for example, a person supported falling ill.
Working on a rota, you will be required to work weekends, evenings, and bank holidays.
We have full time and part time positions available.
