Accounts Receivable Controller
First Choice Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our client in Sherburn in Elmet, who are a family-owned company who are expanding their accounts team due to growth of the company.
We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Controller to support the day-to-day accounting duties of the accounts receivable department. The ideal candidate will be able to manage and maintain accounts receivable database, process incoming payments, reconcile daily financial statements, and assist in the preparation of monthly statements.
Essential Job Functions:
- Manage accounts receivable functions, including verifying invoices, collecting payments, and processing invoices
- Reconcile accounts payable data
- Prepare and maintain reports on accounts receivable status
- Process payment allocation
- To supply copy invoices and statements and log any disputes
- Chasing payment for overdue invoices
- Maintain customer relations with a high level of customer service
- Management of accounts on hold and escalation of late payments
- Open new customer accounts
Requirements:
- Credit control / collections experience
- Previous experience with Sage 200 would be advantageous
Working Hours
Monday to Friday - 8.00am to 4.30pm
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £24,000.00 per year

Experience:
- Accounting: 1 year (required)
- bookkeeping: 1 year (preferred)
