Job description
Boo Koos, Falmouth, are looking for a Server / Server who has experience working in a fast paced working environment and possess the ability to proactively lead a small team. Previous Leadership experience in any aspect is preferred.
You role will involve motivating and driving the team to work to their highest standards, and offering support and guidance at busy times. Working to create a warm welcoming and family friendly eating experience. You should also be a team player and be able to effectively communicate with our kitchen staff to make sure orders are accurate and delivered promptly.
Responsibilities:
- Training is provided to open and close the restaurant, cash up and to handle customer complaints
- Guide, oversee and assist to ensure all duties are being carried out
- Ensure all customers are being provided with good service in a timely manner and that they are all attended to in a speedy time frame.
- Oversee small teams of approximately 3-7 front of house staff
- multi-task various tasks well and in a fast-paced environment
- Problem solve in stressful situations
- Present menu / provide detailed information (e.g. portion sizes, ingredients and Food Allergens)
- Up-sell when appropriate
- Ensure customers meet age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages.
- Accurately take and serve food and drinks orders
- Deliver bills and collect payments
- Clear / clean and prepare tables between seating's
- Keep abreast of new /changes of menu items, and service specifications for reservations (e. g. parties) and relay to relevant front of house staff
- Follow relevant Regulations: Health & Safety, Food Hygiene, Fire and ID checks for alcohol consumption
- Carry out drink (soft, alcoholic and milkshake) preparation

Job Specifications and Benefits:
