Waiting/Bar Staff Bath, England

The Moorfields
Full Time Bath, England 7.71 - 12.85 GBP HOURLY Today
Job description

The pub

The Moorfields is a beautifully appointed contemporary gastropub located in the heart of Oldfield Park. This grand Victorian building had fallen upon hard times before we refurbished and reinvented it in 2020. It's now a stunning contemporary pub serving food and drink all day every day, and has firmly established itself as a favourite venue for the Oldfield Park residents who live on its doorstep.

Inside, the striking central bar is complemented by windows into the kitchen which brings a bit of theatre into the bar; outside the pub's hidden secret is its amazing urban garden space and outside bar which makes it a ‘must visit’ in the summertime.

The role

The Food Runner’s role is to deliver food from the kitchen to the guests and to keep tables clear of dirty glasses and plates.

As such, it is one of the most important roles in the business; prompt service and clean tables are essential elements of great service.

You’ll need to have a friendly manner and be a good team player – good service comes from working well with your colleagues.

It’s hard work at times, but immensely rewarding – there’s nothing like working on a busy service when every customer leaves happy.

The Moorfields is a busy site with multiple customer areas in the summer and our food runners play a vital role ensuring everything gets delivered smoothly.

Front of house

The role of the front of house team isn’t to serve food & drink – it’s to make every customer’s visit special. Of course, that often involves serving food and drink, but it’s so much more than that; a good front of house team turn good customer visits into great ones.

Our front of house roles give you a real opportunity to grow, learn and develop both personally and professionally. You’ll be working alongside people with a shared passion for delivering great service.

When it comes to service, we believe it’s about doing the basics really well and attention to detail; but above all it’s about the people. You can make the difference and make a customer’s visit truly memorable.
