Waiter/Waitress – The Club by Bamford
The Club by Bamford is a new private members club, due to open later this year, set in the heart of the Cotswolds countryside at the Daylesford Farm.
We are seeking 3 highly motivated Waiters/Waitresses to join our fantastic new team.
Full time contract, based on 40 hours per week - £24,000 per annum + TRONC

RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the F&B Supervisor, the pivotal responsibility of the F&B Assistant is to support the F&B Supervisor and the F&B Manager in the service area of the Club restaurant ensuring the cleanliness, health and safety and the customer service for our members is executed to the highest of standards at all times:
- Assisting with set up, preparation and operational activities within the Club restaurant, bar and terrace
- Ensuring the smooth operational running of the restaurant whilst on duty, taking member orders, table service and advising on the Club menu and ingredients
- To assist with the smooth running of a professional, clean and safe restaurant and terrace environment.
- Work to the relevant Health and Safety standards at all times.
- Assisting with Club events as required from set up through to close down
- High levels of personal presentation must be maintained, in keeping with the grooming and uniform guidelines
- Deliver excellence both in terms of customer service and health and hygiene.
- Taking member and guest orders and being aware of any special requests or dietary needs.Deliver food and beverages to members in a timely manner and always available to attend their needs throughout their visit.
- Take payment by cash or by credit card and issuing receipts.
- Dealing with any member complaints immediately with the support of the F&B Manager when necessary.
- Clearing tables ensuring a clean and tidy environment.
- Being professional and highly discretional at all times.
- To have a full understanding of the Bamford Club restaurant menu and the ingredients, playing an active role in continued self-learning and development.
- Have an understanding of the organic products and nutritional benefits.
- Have full awareness of any allergy information on the menu.
- Participate in team meetings and other initiatives in order to be aware of any current menu changes, bringing suggestions for improvement.
- Assisting the F&B Manager with stock ordering and stock control
- Stock taking – providing weekly stock take at the bar under the supervision of the F&B Manager
REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience working in a restaurant.
- The ability to plan and prioritise.
- The ability to be able to work flexible times (some evenings)
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- An eye for detail.
