Job description
We are seeking a passionate, experienced and charismatic waiter to join our dynamic team at our vibrant Molecular Cocktail bar & Pan Asian bar/restaurant.
As a waiter/ress, you will be the face of our establishment, greeting and serving our esteemed guests with warm hospitality, engaging conversation, and an exceptional dining experience. Our ideal candidate must be an excellent communicator, able to make recommendations and provide information about our diverse and exciting menu, wines, cocktails and spirits.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly, professional and warm manner
- Take and process orders accurately and efficiently, while ensuring the guests' preferences and dietary restrictions are taken into account
- Serve food and drinks in a timely and polished manner, ensuring that each dish and beverage is beautifully presented
- Maintain a clean, organized and well-stocked dining area, ensuring the highest levels of hygiene and safety are adhered to at all times
- Respond to any additional requests or complaints in a prompt and courteous manner, ensuring that all guest needs are fulfilled
- Work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with chefs, bartenders and other waitstaff to ensure the smooth operation of our establishment
- Be knowledgeable about our food, beverage and specials menus, and able to answer any questions guests may have about them
- Maintain a positive attitude and friendly demeanor, even under pressure or during busy shifts
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a waiter in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant or bar environment
- Knowledge of Pan Asian cuisine, and a passion for food and beverage service
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with guests and colleagues alike
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Impeccable grooming and hygiene standards
