This Director role sits within our COO organisation reporting into the Vonage Group COO and will be responsible for driving operational excellence, flawless execution and continuous improvement across the Vonage Communications Platform (VCP). Vonage's Sales organization identifies and acquires new customers for the company's robust, feature-rich residential and business communications solutions. We develop and execute sales strategies to address the needs of customers ranging from single-person companies to those with thousands of employees spread over multiple locations. The Senior Vice President, Sales, establishes strategic direction and ensure an overall integrated approach to sales optimization across the globe. IF THIS SOUNDS LIKE YOU, CONTINUE READING BELOW……. What you will do Work with executive leadership to develop, direct and drive key business strategies that provide the highest level of improvement to Field Sales processes and deliver excellent customer service. Establish budget, operational plans and performance goals and requirements. Align and influence internal organizations and external partners in support of Sales strategy and direction. Nurture and maintain consultative relationships with key customer leaders and decision makers. Manage and reconcile requests across diverse Vonage functional groups to achieve desired results for the benefit of the client. Ensure excellence in channel management, issue identification, root cause analysis and development and execution of improvement plans. Serve as day-to-day liaison with key customers to ensure successful and timely request completion. Perform in-person client service reviews with business-critical partners and accounts. Conduct ongoing analysis and sales forecasting for all distribution channels to ensure target gross and other revenue / retention objectives are met. Monitor and report on the health of critical accounts to senior leadership. Address and resolve critical and complex business, functional and operational issues, overseeing resolution of client and partner engagement and service problems. Partner with marketing to roll out programs in support of local revenue goals. Ensure adequate current and future organization capability What you will bring Advanced understanding of the full range of products and services provided by Vonage Business UCaaS and CCaaS essential. Advanced proficiency in all areas of the sales cycle, including prospecting, initial discovery, presentation, demonstration and closing. Familiarity with Microsoft business tools, Salesforce.com and other communication tools. Excellent communication skills, including writing, speaking, and listening. Ability to: Consult with business leaders on sales and operational issues, trends and challenges. Ensure mutual understanding, between Vonage and partners, of product / service benefits, sales arrangements, objectives and requirements. Define Vonage's position relative to the competition and deliver recommendations on how to capitalize on strengths and overcome potential challenges. Integrate trends, data and information into forecasts, plans, models and recommendations. Tailor communication approach to specific situations and audiences. What is required for application Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business or related discipline. Prior leadership experience at an executive level.
