From the steel in our first reinforced bridge in 1903, to railway sensors, we work with government authorities, asset owners, construction companies, and design offices to support their infrastructure projects.
Our systems are found in iconic projects such as The Golden Gate Bridge, Panama Canal, Kap Shui Mun Bridge, and Freedom Tower.
We are currently looking for an experience Marketing professional with global experience that is able to work across multiple cultures and industries.
The VP, Global Sales and Marketing role will report directly to the CEO.
Location: Role will ideally be located in Europe or the UK close to a DYWIDAG physical location. Open to other locations for the right candidate.
RESPONSIBILITY LEVEL:
Lead the development & implementation of the sales & marketing strategy & planning processes; development and promotion of common branding; global product marketing launch process; marketing performance measurement; support key strategic bids; arrange annual customer satisfaction surveys; manage global marketing agency relationship & representation leadership; support regional sales and marketing teams, establish global processes and training for regional sales and marketing teams and develop/manage the global CRM system.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
- Marketing Strategy: Identify & implement innovative marketing strategies that engage target audiences, drive business results & marketing efficiencies globally across all media channels.
- Develop customer, market & media segmentation strategies and action plans aligned with business, product, service & brand strategies.
- Implement marketing strategies, based on market insights & trends, customer requirements, marketing/media trends, with priority on digital, mobile & social media.
- Maintain & report insights about current and prospective customers to understand awareness and preference for our aftermarket products, services and key competitor activity.
- Global Digital & Social Media Strategy: Develop & implement a global digital and social media strategy, including regional opportunities. Leverage existing platforms, such as brand websites & Open Globe, as appropriate.
- Monitor new media & digital trends & best practices globally and regionally and adjust strategies & plans accordingly. Share expertise to increase digital capabilities within the organization.
- Lead the ongoing management & maintenance of all global framework elements, including the platform and hosting environment, CMS, eCommerce engine, global analytics guidelines, global IA (information architecture) standards, and governance.
- Serve as Digital Governance Steward. Develop social media governance and integrate with existing digital governance process and oversee compliance.
- Global Digital & Social Media Strategy: Develop & implement a global digital and social media strategy, including regional opportunities. Leverage existing platforms as appropriate.
- Marketing Planning & Execution: Lead and facilitate the global marketing planning process, and development & implementation of Global and Regional marketing plans. Ensure plans translate line of business objectives and strategies into effective and accountable actions that support customer sales & marketing needs, utilize effective media planning & marketing mix execution to facilitate business growth.
- Marketing Integration & Efficiency: Ensure effective marketing processes & disciplines in all Regions and ensure utilization of shared and support services. Lead the global agency relationship and drive consistency & efficiency in the aftermarket agency representation. Develop core marketing collateral to support events, advertising, merchandising, and promotional support needs of the Regions & Customers.
- Marketing Launch: Guide Regions to consistently implement the marketing deliverables for brand, product & technology launches.
- Marketing performance: Establish metrics for each element of the marketing mix & activities. Develop & launch Marketing dashboards to measure performance & drive accountable results in marketing activities.
- Plan and administer the Marketing budget for global support development of regional marketing budgets.
- Collaborate with Regional Presidents and Regional Marketing teams on Strategy and Product Marketing
- Build and develop a marketing team which is proficient, commercially astute, innovative and efficient.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This role Supervises the Global Senior Marketing Communications Manager and the Digital & Social Media Specialist
REQUIREMENTS:
- 10+ years progressive Marketing experience
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related curriculum. MBA desirable.
- Prefer 3-5 years of direct experience in the Construction industry.
- Demonstrated track record of strong leadership. Excellent communication skills and creativity are critical.
- Must be able to collaborate and influence in a matrix environment to effectively balance Regional and functional priorities for win-win results.
- Ability to collaborate and work internationally is required. International marketing experience preferred.
- Ability to travel globally ~25%.
