Age UK has another exciting new opportunity! We are recruiting for a Volunteering Operations Officer to join the Charity. With an excellent attention to detail, strong organisational abilities, and fantastic communication skills, in this role you’ll be the first point of contact for our impactful Volunteering team.
As Volunteering Operations Officer you’ll play an integral role in Age UK’s work with and for older people, providing support to both volunteers and volunteering leaders across the Age UK network of charities. Daily tasks include operational support with volunteer recruitment and retention functions, reporting and statistic generation, logistics, administrative responsibilities, and volunteer communications.
This is a hybrid opportunity, a blend of homebased and office working. Our linked office for this role is in London.
Must haves:
- Administrative support.
- Internal and external audience communications.
- Data entry CRM or other database use.
- Customer service or staff/volunteer support.
- Charity Sector operations or services.
- Event and meeting organisation.
Great to haves:
- Delivery of social care services.
- Public-facing enquiry management and communications.
- Volunteer engagement and recognition.
- Working in a federated organisation or structure.
- Knowledge of issues affecting older people.
- Report creation.
