Why am I needed?
Our Support Services department is a very busy department and we are looking for an extra helping hand.
Part of your role would be to help with our general admin tasks such as posting, scanning, emails. With the intention then to train our volunteers on our systems, taking referrals, calling external services etc.
Our office is a fast paced one, with no day the same. This is a really exciting new role for us in the Charity, to help one of our busiest departments with their workload.
If you love organising, sorting, admin and meeting new people, this is the Volunteer role for you!
What will I be doing?
Your main tasks will involve, but may not be limited to:
Processing all incoming and outgoing mail, undertaking photocopying, scanning, uploading, faxing and filing as required.
Monitoring our admin email inbox and actioning what comes in
Answering the phones and taking referrals
Contacting external services such as Hospitals as well as our clients
General admin office tasks
Keeping the office rooms tidy and organised, greeting guests to the office as well
Input data into our databases and spreadsheets making sure it is accurate and up to date
Generating letters to clients and healthcare professionals.
Any other duties as requested by the Support Services Administration Manager.

What support will I be given?
The Admin team will be on hand to support you in your role

Where will I be based?
For this role you will be based at our Head Office in the centre of Cardiff. Volunteers will be able to claim back on travel expenses.
What about the hours?
We are flexible with regards to what days you would be required. The hours would need to be between 9am – 5pm, when the office is open. We would ask for at least 4 hours a week for this role.
