OPEN POSITIONS: Volleyball Coach (other sports offered during the school year as well, let us know if you want to coach other sports) COMPENSATION: $18.50 per hour (about $600 per season) TIME COMMITMENT: Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday afternoons/evenings, no weekends, no nights, no non-school days Afternoon/Evening shifts (3pm – 6:30pm) Practice days are 3pm-5pm (depends on school bell times). Game days are 4:30-6:30pm. SITE LOCATIONS: Golden or Arvada JOB REQUIREMENTS: Experience working with children required (1-2 years with ages 10-15) Sports experience required (1-2 years playing) Coaching/Teaching/Camp Counselor experience preferred (1-2 years) Reliable transportation required Pass a background check once hired is required First Aid and CPR certification required once hired Must be 18 years old by hire date Adaptable, Self-motivated, Energetic, Excited, Encouraging, Confident, Responsible and Patient JOB DUTIES: Attend daily practices and weekly games Prepare practice and game plans per league guidelines (this is a RECREATIONAL league) Communicate directly with kids, parents, schools, league and Skyhawks management Teach sports skills and life skills Encourage a fun learning environment We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, gender identity, marital or veteran status, or any other protected class. Also share your coaching experience here. Do you coach other sports? Our middle schools run cross country, flag football, volleyball, basketball, soccer and track. Our Volleyball season runs from October 16 - December 14. Are you available during these dates? Are you able to work Mon/Weds, Tues/Thurs or all 4 days between 3pm and 6:30pm? Practices are 3pm-5:45pm depending on the school where you coach. Games are 4:30-6:30pm. During the dates above, you will either have practice or games. There is no practice or games on non-school days. Are you available during these times? This position requires you to pass a background check.
