Multiple award-winning pie shop, family run business located in Fearnhead, Warrington. We are looking for an enthusiastic and hard-working Assistant to join the friendly team in our bakery.

The position is part time Wed-Friday. 18 hours per week. 7.00am - 1.00pm

Things you will need to do:

• This role requires a 7am start as you will be fully responsible for setting the shop up ready for its busy opening.
• This involves making scones, egg custards, getting the 1st bake of pies in the oven ready for opening. Prep of salad, gravy, mash, peas ect (full training will be given)
• Work within the bakery serving customers, taking orders face to face and via telephone, cash handling, operating a till and card reader.
• Prepare and serve to order. Pies, Sandwiches, coffees ect.
• Run a busy service as this can be a very fast paced environment so you must be thinking ahead.
• Liaise with the team to ensure a smooth service.
• Have good knowledge of all food safety, health and safety documentation/protocol and for you to follow this practice.

The person we are looking for will:

• Have some kitchen/bakery experience in the fast casual environment.
• Will be a team player.
• Have a calm and methodical approach to your work as it does get really busy at peak times.
• Be hardworking, dynamic and passionate about Pies

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 18 per week

Salary: £11.00 per hour
