Voice Recording Delivery Engineer
London
As a Barclays Voice Recording Delivery Engineer, you will be accountable for working with a team of internal and external partners to deliver complex voice solutions in alignment with the business needs and overall Barclays network and telephony strategy. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the Networks and Voice (N&V) as one of three strategic pillars delivering a bank-wide transformational programme in line with Barclays Transformation Agenda across Core Networks, Service Management, and Enterprise Tools.

We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. We’re flexible on how this works and it may continue to change and evolve. Depending on your team, typically this means that colleagues spend a minimum of between 20% to 60% of their time in the office, which could be over a week, a month, or a quarter. However, some colleagues may choose to spend more time in the office over a typical period than their role type requires. - Working with stakeholders to ascertain business requirements as required
- Creating design documentation that meets the business requirements whilst also being resilient and cost efficient
- Engaging with vendors to obtain quotes and submit and represent spend requests
- Configurating and deploying of voice hardware, or management of vendor resources where applicable
- Deployment of voice equipment and subsequent testing in keeping with the risk profile
- Creating appropriate support documentation for handover to Voice Operations
- Adhering to all change management processes
What we’re looking for:
- Expert knowledge of VFC Verba
- Project Delivery experience in Voice Recording
- Experience of migrating data between storage platforms preferably between Isilon and ECS
- Experience managing vendor resources and ensure vendor adherence to SOW
- Solid grasp of Nice NTR recording platform
- Competence in designing cloud recording platforms
- Good experience troubleshooting voice recording issues
- Experience of working on voice recording platforms in the financial services industry
