You will be accountable for:
Completing a variety of day to day tasks to a high standard and in a timely manner. To interact professionally at all levels, including internal and external stakeholders, senior hotel leadership team, clients and contacts.
Your key responsibilities & Contribution will be:
To handle various requests and queries (no two days are the same!), organise and schedule meetings using admin software, arrange travel itineraries, assist in the preparation of regular reports, prepare charity vouchers, submit and reconcile basic expense reports, book and communicate with guests on VIP stay and dining reservations, provide support with online guest review responses and general guest correspondence, with ad-hoc research projects.
To work alongside the Director of Quality and Sustainability to help maintain the understanding and communication of the hotel’s Forbes Five Star Luxury Travel Guide and Leading Quality Assurance (LQA) service standards, with the potential of participating in presentations, internal audits and colleague orientations.
What you will need to do in this role:
- Excellent English language written and verbal communication skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail - important as dealing with some data and figures
- Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise work
- Ability to multitask, be flexible and adaptable
- Professional and friendly demeanour
- Maintain confidentiality of information
Understanding of office management systems (proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint in particular)- Follow all company policies and procedures, ensure well-presented and professional personal appearance
- Ability to work independently when required
